Opening Day
The Red Sox continued their 21st century tradition of losing on opening day. Usually it is to a team like the Orioles. This year, it was to the Yankees in the Bronx. Which brings up an important point concerning games held at Yankee Stadium. Specifically, it is about that guy - the Yankee Tenor - who sings the interminably long version of God Bless America during the seventh inning stretch and looks a little bit like Michael Chiklis from the show, The Shield, I think I speak for a majority of North American baseball fans when I tell him, "Hey, Mr. Yankee Tenor guy, put a sock in it!" Most of us living outside New York happen to believe it is possible to be patriotic and to love this country and still not want to listen to you any more.

Of course, the Yankees organization probably knows this.
